WALES V IRELAND rematch

This year’s annual international charity polo event at Glanusk Park will see a rematch of last year’s thrilling encounter where Wales played and drew against a strong Ireland team.

Whilst the passion and rivalry expected between the two Celtic teams will be no different this year, in a change from previous years, you will again be able to bring your own provisions.

Commenting on this year’s fixture, Wales captain Ricky Cooper said, “Our aim is to welcome back past guests and introduce this exciting sport to as many new people as possible, whilst raising money for charity. The ‘bring your own’ option was hugely popular in 2009 and by popular demand its been brought back. It’s ‘back to basics’, but with the attention on quality that this event has become known for. We’re really looking forward to what should be a great game of polo and a great day out for those attending”

We are delighted to welcome back Melanie Walters (Gavin & Stacey) who is again giving her time to support the team and charities at GlanuskPolo.
