The Legge-Bourke family relationship with the Welsh Guards goes back to 1940 when Lord Glanusk commanded the 3rd Battalion and most recently when Harry Legge-Bourke served 10 years with the 1st Battalion.

He served with Lt Colonel Rupert Thorneloe who, along with 6 others, was killed in Afghanistan and where over 24 Welsh Guardsmen were very seriously injured. He still maintains close links the Battalion since leaving and is president of the Merthyr Tydfil Branch of the Welsh Guards Association.

This will be a spectacular event and it is hoped that we will raise a substantial amount of money for the fund.

It is open to all and we very much hope that you will enjoy the day with a choice of tickets that make it worth everyones while coming to support the Welsh Guards.
